Range Rules
- Smoke-Free Zone: To ensure a healthy environment for all, smoking is not permitted on the range.
- Crossbow Policy: Please note that crossbows are not allowed on our premises to maintain safety and equipment integrity.
- Arrow Tips: For everyone’s safety and to protect our targets, please use field tips only; broadheads are not permitted.
- Shooting Line: To ensure fairness and safety, archers are required to shoot only from the designated shooting line. ‘Walk-up’ shooting is not allowed.
- Waiting Line: Spectators and archers awaiting their turn should stay behind the waiting line, keeping the shooting area clear and safe.
- Nocking Arrows: Please nock your arrows only when the shooting area is clear and all archers are stationed at the shooting line.
- Commands: Pay attention to the commands “LINE HOT” to start shooting and “CLEAR” or “PULL” to stop and retrieve arrows. Clear communication is key for everyone’s safety.
- Safe Shooting: Always aim directly at the targets and never shoot arrows into the air or in directions other than the designated targets.
- Target Guidelines: Use only the targets provided to protect our equipment and ensure consistent safety standards. Personal targets are not permitted.
- Efficient Retrieval: To keep the flow of shooting smooth, please refrain from extensive searching for arrows during active shooting times.
- Litter-Free: Help us keep our space clean by packing out what you pack in. No littering or dumping of trash is allowed.
- Alcohol and Drug Policy: For the safety and enjoyment of all, the possession or use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Event Considerations: Be aware that special rules may apply, or the range may be closed during special events. Please respect these guidelines.
- Youth Supervision: Archers under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Report Concerns: Your safety is our priority. If you notice any unsafe conditions or behavior, please report it to our staff immediately.
